Cambridge Rally for Safer Bike Lanes
Each year first responders are called to a crash involving a person on a bike being struck by a car 160 times, according to Cambridge Police Department data. That’s 160 times too many. Cambridge Bicycle Safety invites you to join us on October 17 in putting 160 bikes on the Cambridge City Hall lawn to raise awareness about the dangers of biking on our streets, and to highlight how a city-wide network of protected bike lanes would keep everyone safer and welcome…

Cambridge Hearing on Vision Zero
The Transportation and Public Utilities Committee will conduct a public hearing to discuss the next the steps in creating a protected bike network and an update on future Vision Zero infrastructure. Cambridge Ordinance Committee Hearing on Cycling Safety
Councillor Carlone and Councillor Kelley, Co-Chairs of the Ordinance Committee of the City of Cambridge, have scheduled a public hearing for Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at 5:30 PM in the Sullivan Chamber. The purpose of the hearing is to discuss a proposed amendment to the Municipal Code in Title 12 entitled “Streets, Sidewalks and Public Places” by adding a new Chapter 12.22 entitled “Cycling Safety Ordinance.”
