Support our Bike to Market program: Donate today!

Dear friend,

When access to bike shops is restricted by geography or expense, even minor repairs can keep riders off the roads — a problem that disproportionately impacts those who rely on their bikes for transportation.

We are there to bridge that gap by providing free, expert repairs in neighborhoods with limited access to bike shops though our Bike to Market program and our Bike Workshop. All summer you can find us at farmers markets in East Boston, Mattapan, Fields Corner, and Dudley Town Common, and year-round we continue this effort at our shop near Dudley Square. Through these two programs, the Bike Union has fixed more than 550 bikes at no cost to riders in 2018 alone.

Through this effort, we’re also empowering riders by teaching them how to fix their own bikes, and engaging them in our advocacy toward building a more sustainable, equitable and bike-friendly transportation network in Boston!

WE NEED YOU to keep this amazing momentum going so we can ensure that every rider, regardless of what neighborhood they live in, can ride safe bikes on safer streets.

DONATE TODAY!

Your support is vital to helping us bridge the gaps for all of Boston’s cyclists. Your gift will help us to close out 2018 in a position of strength, and give us the resources we need to tackle the challenges in the year ahead.

Support us today.

Best,
