In February, the state conducted a formal Road Safety Audit to identify dangers and areas of improvement along William J. Day Boulevard, from the State Police Driveway to Farragut Road, in South Boston. The  Massachusetts Department of Transportation and the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation will now host a public meeting to discuss proposed safety improvements identified in that audit.
