Volunteer Working Groups meet monthly and play an important role in planning and organizing Bike Union programs and campaigns. Participation in these groups offers a more active, “on-the-ground” influence than traditional volunteer opportunities.
Chair: Eliza Parad, Director of Organizing
The Activist Group uses community organizing to make Boston a safer, more enjoyable place to ride a bike. Join us if you like doing outreach and connecting with people about issues they care about, working on campaigns, planning direct actions and/or being part of a group to bring about change. Join us if you are interested in helping the BCU lead strategy for improving streets and passing policy.

Interested in helping develop our bike repair education programs like Bike to Market, or reaching out to help local businesses be more bike-friendly? Join the group that’s making it all happen.
