Come to our 5-Year Anniversary Party!

The Bike Union is turning five! Come celebrate with us at our spring party on May 17th!

In May of 2011 the founding Executive Director Pete Stidman and the Board of Directors submitted the paperwork making the Bike Union an official 501(c)3 non-profit organization! Now it’s time to celebrate!12901014_1379891758707143_3142973183050833675_o

Over the last five years the Bike Union, its members and volunteers have worked tirelessly to take Boston from one of the worst cities in the country for biking, to a national leader in biking!

From winning protected bike lanes on Beacon Street in Somerville and Commonwealth Ave in Boston, to the grounding of the Casey Overpass, creation of the Bike Network Plan and now the city’s first cycle tracks – Connect Historic Boston downtown – being completed this year!), we’ve come so far!

While our work is far from done, we invite you to join us this May in celebrating the past five years of victories, and launching the next 5 years of the Bike Union and better biking in Boston!
