Black History Ride

We are holding our first community bike ride of the 2022 season and we hope you can join us! The 3-mile loop around Roxbury will include stops to highlight Black leaders who organized to shaped the community, streets, and transportation we experience today and ways for you to keep shaping the future of our streets. We are excited to have State Representative, Nika Elugardo, join as one of our speakers!

Start and End at Roxbury Crossing
The ride is free, and registration is not required but helps us plan refreshments and logistics. There will be free bike repair from 1:30 – 2:30 PM and we will roll out around 2:30 PM and end back at Roxbury Crossing by 4:00 PM. This ride is for all ages and abilities, including children and families!
We have BlueBikes passes available if people want to ride for free. If you’d like to bike to the ride from your home, contact Eliza Parad, Director of Organizing, to get a code for a BlueBike ahead of time. We will also have helmets for sale for $5 and free bike lights.
