Resident Parking Permit Program Hearing
Boston is weighing whether to begin charging residents for parking permits, which are currently free, and potentially limiting the number of permits a single family could obtain. Sponsored by City Council President Michelle Wu, the change aims to encourage residents to opt for provided, private spaces instead of limited on-street parking, and to fund infrastructure projects. The public is encouraged to attend this hearing and provide testimony. More info here.
