DESCRIPTION:With the help of the Brookline GreenSpace Alliance\, the Brookline Bicycle Advisory Committee\, LivableStreets Alliance and Biking Brookline\, volunteers in Brookline are staging a public event on Saturday\, May 18 to showcase the bridle path restoration project on the Beacon Street median. Between 10am and 2pm\, the portion of the old bridle path between Carlton Street and Kent Street will be closed for car parking (its current use) and open for waking\, biking\, scootering\, sauntering and general re-imagining of the space as a public amenity in the heart of Brookline.
