DESCRIPTION:This Dorchester Bike to Market takes place at the Fields Corner Shopping Mall parking lot (Park St and Dorchester Ave.) \nAt Bike to Market\, our trained mechanics fix bikes and teach riders how to perform maintenance and minor repairs so they can keep their bikes running and become more confident\, self-reliant cyclists. (Guidance and repairs are free\, and parts are sold at an affordable cost. ) \nBike to Market takes place at farmers markets throughout the summer season in Boston neighborhoods underserved by bike shops. The program is supported by a grant from Zipcar and by donations and memberships. Join the Bike Union today to support this important program! \nWe also rely on volunteers to help at each market.
